Terms of Service

Last updated: June 6, 2026

1. Who operates SiteCatch

SiteCatch is operated by Michael Szybko, Richard-Wagner-Str. 79, 45657 Recklinghausen, Germany. You can contact us at support@sitecatch.io.

2. Acceptance

By creating an account, using the dashboard, buying credits, or using the API, you agree to these Terms of Service.

3. Service

SiteCatch helps you create website screenshots and screenshot sets from URLs you provide. It is not a monitoring, scraping, archiving, or backup service.

4. Accounts and API keys

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use SiteCatch.
  • You are responsible for your account, password, sessions, and API keys.
  • API keys are secret. Do not publish them in client-side code or public repos.
  • You are responsible for all requests made with your account or API keys.

5. Credits and payments

  • SiteCatch uses a credit-based model, not a subscription.
  • Free credits may be provided for testing the service and may be changed or removed.
  • Paid credit packs are made available after a successful Stripe payment.
  • One successful screenshot normally costs one credit.
  • When a capture fails before a screenshot is created, we try not to charge a credit.
  • Prices may change in the future, but already purchased credits remain available.

6. Refunds

Paid credit packs are digital services that are delivered immediately after purchase. If something went wrong with a payment, credit delivery, or a capture flow, contact support@sitecatch.io and we will review it case by case. This does not limit mandatory consumer rights that may apply under your local law.

7. Your URLs and third-party websites

  • You choose which URLs are submitted to SiteCatch.
  • You are responsible for having the right to capture, store, and use the resulting screenshots.
  • We do not control third-party websites or the content they display.
  • Screenshots may include third-party content, personal data, cookie banners, errors, or login screens.

8. Acceptable use

You may not use SiteCatch to:

  • break the law or violate the rights of others;
  • capture private, restricted, paywalled, or login-only content without permission;
  • bypass access controls, rate limits, or security measures;
  • abuse, overload, scan, or attack websites or infrastructure;
  • submit malware, phishing pages, or illegal content;
  • resell the service in a misleading way or hide your responsibility for your use.

9. Storage and deletion

Screenshots and related metadata may be stored so you can review and download them in your library. For active accounts, screenshots are kept for at least 90 days. We currently do not automatically delete screenshots, but SiteCatch is not permanent image hosting, backup, or archive storage. If you need a screenshot permanently, download it and host it with your own site. If we introduce automatic cleanup later, we will take reasonable steps to notify users before deletion. You can contact support if you need account or screenshot data deleted, subject to legal, billing, fraud-prevention, and security retention needs.

10. Availability

We aim to keep SiteCatch reliable, but we do not provide a guaranteed uptime, response time, capture success rate, or service-level agreement. Some websites may block automation, load slowly, or fail to render.

11. Suspension

We may limit, suspend, or close accounts that abuse the service, violate these terms, create security risk, or create legal risk for SiteCatch or others.

12. Liability

SiteCatch is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, lost data, third-party website content, or failed captures. Mandatory legal liability remains unaffected.

13. Changes

We may update these terms when the service, pricing, or legal requirements change. If a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users.
